By December 14, 2021May 3rd, 2022No Comments

In collaboration with St Martin’s college, Spark15 gave an information session on migration today. Spark15 President Dursa Kadu met the students of the sixth form during their Geography Class to discuss several topics.

As the students were learning about different types of migration, theories of migration and refugees in Malta, the school felt that a discussion moment would complement the syllabus. Dursa was invited to explore the issues migrants face in the country today. The students were particularly interested in the reasons why people actually flee their countries. Dursa explained the different factors that can lead to migration.

The students were very attentive and learned more about the emotional aspect of migration. For them, it was important to listen to someone who lived the experience, as this taught them more about the emotional aspects migrants experience.
